Lackluster

The concept has potential, but the current controls hold it back. The controls make it extremely hard to beat the par times.

Great game

This game is amazing it is so much fun the puzzles are mind-boggling and the level of difficulty perfect. But disking punishes you for taking too long or not doing it under the ride Im on the steps and it is bad is better to see for yourself then looking on someones review

Snappy little puzzler!

Great concept. Near flawless execution. No story. Would pay up to 4.99 if there was more.

Best game ever

The controls are bad but that makes up that you never miss and you can put in and take out bulbs Easley. I love that you have to get it perfect to reach Rachel its AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Game!

This game is a good game except for its controls. It helps you with skill and is infuriating sometimes but, sometimes, when you want Jake to move, your thumb might be too big and might lead you to your death or to a different direction. Get this game on WiiWare if you can (its the original version). Thanks!

Terribad controls

Good game concept, but the controls are absolutely terrible. Good luck meeting any of the goals with these controls.

Nice but a lot of basic mistakes

The idea of the game is amazing but there is basic common sense you should have in the game like being able to turn of the sound and music as well as being able to hear music from the music app while playing. Also the control is a little bit hard like turning off the lights by mistake cuz you wanted to walk instead of trigger the light.

Great Game, Horrible Controls

While the gamplay, puzzles, and graphics are fun, quirky, and fantastic the controls are downright clumsy and frustrating. This unfortunately destroys an otherwise fantastic game. This could be fixed by a visible control pad with a separate interaction button, or steps tracked by highlighting squares. Most of the time the character overshoots and takes too many steps causing your score to decrease, or unintentionally interacts with objects and dies when trying to walk somewhere. This is extremely cumbersome and ruins much of an otherwise fantastic game. I understand that this is currently a free app, but with changes this could be an extremely high quality game that would be worth paying for. I look forward to the developers future apps and updates and hope that they will be as good as this one... but with its flaws greatly improved on!

Fun but flawed

Excellent puzzles, but the controls are often frustrating. The fact that you get the "bad" ending if you go too slowly is annoying since the controls arent great.

Good game, although a little clumsy.

Clumsy controls and mechanics, wonderful idea. Also its too short and unintuitive at times.

Fantastic game but...

While this game is extremely fun to play, its only 16 levels. The first 10 dont present much of a challenge. The last 4 are very tricky. But thats it. Then its over. Add to that the fact that the the developers expect you to be able to beat each level in an unrealistic amount of time. And there are ZERO instructions. You have to figure everything out yourself. A lot of fun and I hope they update it soon with more levels.

Lit is back!!

LIT started out as a fantastic puzzle game for the Wii console. I am very glad to see it now available for iPhone!! Thank you WayForward!!!

Cute but... really??

I think the game is cute and all (love the graphics) but HOW DO I MOVE? I had to delete this game in about 15 seconds...

Great game, awful controls.

Maybe try a tap to move scheme (like Diner Dash) instead of a slide mechanic? Doesnt work well for this type of game.

Great game! Still trying to get GoodEnding

Ill be honest this game took me DAYS to finally figure out how to play or even solve the first room. I downloaded it then I go to Level 1 and all I was able to do was walk back and forth until I maybe week or so after coming back to the game, I saw the mirror glowing... I cant believe the "timed" thing is actually important to the fate of the characters! Wow! Great game! Its worth being patient.

Saturday Morning Lit

I actually owned the original version of this game from back when it was available on the Nintendo Wiis eshop, so you can imagine my surprise when I see that not only had Lit been ported to iOS, but that it had traded in its dark and creepy art style for one that would make Cartoon Network proud. Being a fan of the original game, downloading this game for free was a no-brainier. As it turns out, the visuals arent the only thing that have been simplified in the iOS version, the gameplay has been dumbed down to suit touch screen based gameplay. Like in the original, you play as Jake, a heroic, if not moody and sarcastic, teen who must rescue his girlfriend when his high school is overrun by darkness and the monsters within it. However, instead of being able to move in any direction, iOS Lit is played on a grid. To progress through the game, you must create a trail of light using windows, lamps, TV, and more to reach the exit, because touching the dark areas of the room is an instant death. Jake must use different tools to clear a safe path through the 16 different rooms, avoiding monsters and darkness itself, and do it as fast as possible (if you want the good ending, that is.) But how does it compare to the original? The short answer is that its much shorter, much easier, and is missing a lot of content, like several light mechanics, boss fights, and voiced bits that emphasized the story (which is largely ignored in this version). However, this game is free, and currently doesnt ask for any money in any way, which is refreshing, though small ads will play at the top of screen. Interestingly, they kept the original creepy music tracks from the first game, and they clash jarring my with this games lighter art style. When out of the context of its original game, Lit is a fun though fleeting little puzzle game with charming artwork and simple puzzles that dont require too much thought to solve. If youre anything like me, youll spend an hour or two playing through the game, and ab extra few minutes to get the best scores and ending. Bottom line: good presentation and some smart puzzles are enough to keep you playing this rather shallow game, recommend playing.

Great game

The game has a wonderful soundtrack and great art. Its short, but well worth playing, even if the controls are a little frustrating at times. I hope to see expansions or a sequel to this game eventually.

Awesome!

No tutorial, intuitive moves, and challenging puzzles, just perfect! Please, make more levels!
